To date KEGOC has completed three large-scale investment projects and commenced several new ones of strategic importance:

  1. Kazakhstan Electricity Transmission Rehabilitation Project (completed in 2010);
  2. Construction of 500 kV Second Transmission Line of Kazakhstan North-South Transit (completed in 2009);
  3. Kazakhstan Electricity Transmission Rehabilitation Project, Phase II (completed in 2014);
  4. Moinak Electricity Transmission Project (completed in 2012);
  5. Alma Electricity Transmission Project (completed in 2014);
  6. Balkhash Electricity Transmission Project (in progress);
  7. Ossakarovka Transmission Rehabilitation Project (completed in 2014);
  8. Reinforcement of electricity transmission link between Pavlodar power region and Unified Power System of Kazakhstan (in progress);
  9. 500 kV OHTL Ekibastuz – Shulbinsk HPP (Semey) – Ust-Kamenogorsk Construction Project (in progress);
  10. 500 kV OHTL Shulbinsk HPP (Semey) - Aktogay - Taldykorgan - Alma Construction Project (in progress).

The amount of capital investments in Q3 2016 was KZT 18 419,373 million.

The KEGOC's investment program for 2014-2015, approved jointly by the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (order No.155-ОД dated 27 May 2013) and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (order No.256 of dated 22 August 2013)

The KEGOC's investment program for 2014-2015, approved jointly by the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (order No.155-ОД dated 27 May 2013) and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (order No.256 of dated 22 August 2013) requires KZT 18,841.340 million of capital investments in 2014.

The amount of capital investments in Q1 2015 was KZT 616.491 million.

The amount of capital investments in H1 2015 was KZT 1,981.163 million.

The amount of capital investments in Q3 2015 was KZT 10 870,013 million.

The amount of capital investments in Q4 2015 was KZT 24 486,242  million.

The amount of capital investments in Q1 2014 was KZT 2,425.909 million, or 12.9% of the annual plan.

The amount of capital investments in H1 2014 was KZT 6,636.044 million, or 35.2% of the annual plan.

The amount of capital investments in Q3 2014 was KZT 12,426.527 million, or 65.9% of the annual plan.     

Updated the KEGOC's investment program for 2014 requires KZT 21,009.679 million of capital investments.

The amount of capital investments in Q4 2014 was KZT 26,264.341 million, or 125.0% of the annual plan.

Information on Investment Program Progress in 2012-2013 

KEGOC investment program for 2012-2013 approved jointly by the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (order No. 96-ОД dated 3 April 2013) and the Ministry of Industry and New Technology (order No. 162 of dated 27 May 2013).

The KEGOC's investment program for 2012-2013, approved jointly by the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (order No. 96-ОД dated 03 April 2013) and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (order No.162 of dated 27 May 2013) requires KZT 25,683.322 million of capital investments in 2012. Actual disbursement of capital investments in 2012 was KZT 24530.922 million.

The KEGOC's investment program for 2012-2013, approved jointly by the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (order No. 96-ОД dated 03 April 2013) and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (order No.162 of dated 27 May 2013) requires KZT 40,576.809 million of capital investments in 2013. Actual disbursement of capital investments in 2013 was KZT 42,646.668 million.

Actual disbursement of capital investments in 2011 was KZT 18,232.876 million.

KEGOC investment program for 2010 approved jointly by the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (order No.91-ОД dated 19 March 2010) and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (order No.26 dated 15 April 2010).

KEGOC investment program approved jointly by the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (order No.91-ОД dated 19 March 2010) and the Ministry of Industry and New Technology (order No. 26 dated 15 April 2010) requires for KZT 6307.390 million of capital investments in 2010. Actual disbursement of capital investments in 2010 was KZT 8,093.566 million.
