Technological development

In accordance with KEGOC Innovative Technological Policy the main areas of technological development are:

1) raising the awareness of KEGOC personnel of the advanced technologies and training the personnel to apply them in practice through development of technological competencies;

2) higher level of penetration of the effective technologies, solution of technological problems through modernization of power networks;

3) cooperation with technology development centres (by competence) through KEGOC's partnership with industry research and development centres and transnational companies of the relevant sectors in the following directions (without limitation): Smart Grid, SCADA/EMS, WAMS/WACS, Central Emergency Automation, Power Frequency Control, HVDC, FACTS, Energy Storage, Digital Substation, Big Data, Machine Learning, Geographic Information System, Asset Performance Management, mobile applications, clean technology, internet of things, and robotization.
