KEGOC presented the design phase results under the Enterprise Process Implementation project

On 27-28 March, KEGOC’s central office held the meetings of the Managing Committee under the KEG01 Enterprise Process Implementation project and presented the results of basic process design in 8 directions. Earlier, on 19 March KEGOC made a similar presentation of the results of basic process design phase for the HR target model.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Management Board, Managing Directors - Sponsors, supervisors of the project directions, Samruk-Kazyna’s representatives and members of the project team. The presentation was held in the form of reports on the works performed within the conceptual design phase. In the Transformation Programme project portfolio, the KEG01 Enterprise Process Implementation is the largest project, since it involves almost all company’s employees and will be implemented in two phases: basic processes automation and further implementation of the expanded list of the company’s processes.

The project’s first phase will implement the main processes in such business areas as asset management, portfolio of business initiatives and project activities, personnel management, procurement and inventory management, sales processes, treasury and corporate finance, accounting and tax accounting, managerial accounting and the entire company’s data management. The project solutions outline the results of a thorough analysis and comparison of the current business state with the target process models, scenarios for implementing the business changes, data migration, methodological documentation, and possible risks and benefits of planned changes. The first project phase works are expected to be the basis for automation development at KEGOC and further expanded business processes implementation. By the end of this year, it is planned to make the necessary settings in the system, train users, test and, upon the trial operation, put a new system in commercial operation.

At the end of the presentation, the participants separately marked the impact of the planned business changes on improving the efficiency, transparency and quality of operating and other activities of the company, reduction of routine operations and impact of human factors, prompt reporting and data analysis. In addition, the new business processes model will influence the quality of managerial decision-making at KEGOC, and will also promote the development of the continuous improvement culture and the formation of so-called center of competence among the company’s employees who will support further sustainable development. The Chairman of the company’s Management Board Bakytzhan Kazhiyev highly appreciated the work completed and thanked the project team for the significant contribution to the achievement of the set goals.
