On 28 July this year KEGOC held a regular Modernization Board. The meeting was attended by all members of the Board. Along with the main participants and speakers the Board was attended by the Business Transformation Centre leaders and experts, as well as KPMG Tax and Advisory consultants.
The meeting agenda included three main issues: communicate the results of KEGOC's Business Transformation Programme, approve the results of KEGOC's Business Transformation Programme and approve requests to amend the map of level 1 - 2 processes. The responsible speakers were the Head of Integration Office Khabibulla Kaziyev, Chief Human Resources Officer Anar Mukhamedzhanova and the Head of IT Office Stanislav Shabanov.
It should be noted that the issues reviewed by the Board are critical in finalizing the Diagnostics and Design transformation stage - Plan for transition to the target organizational structure and operating model, List of prospective areas to optimize, Initiatives list coordinated with process owner, Target competency model, Job descriptions to СЕО-2 level and Concept for information technology, information security development, data management, KPI tree with enterprise data, KPI benchmarking against best sector indicators.
As the Head of Integration Office Khabibulla Kaziyev clarified, 'the List of initiatives coordinated with process owner shall serve to achieve two essential goals: structurally describe initiatives that will further be the basis for the planning stage, and prepare an integral, high-level list of changes for stakeholders'. In addition, he mentioned that the KPI tree included approximately 60 indicators, and the KPI tree with the data was the basis for KPI benchmarking against best sector indicators to reflect strengths and weaknesses of certain components of the KEGOC's KPI tree. The concept for information technology, information security development was highlighted by Head of IT Office Stanislav Shabanov. He noted that this result was a basis for IT strategy created on the business strategy, target IT architecture and data management strategy.
All the abovementioned results were approved by the Board without serious remarks. At least two Modernizations Boards are supposed to be held shortly - the first will be transitional with the main aim to coordinate the remaining results and the second will be final and basically required to close the current Stage 1 and officially transit to Stage 2 Planning.
In conclusion, Chairman of Management Board Bakytzhan Kazhiyev told that 'the completed extensive work will ensure a solid foundation to further improve our company based on world's best practices'.
