Kanysh Moldabayev, the Chairman of KEGOC's Management Board, met with the workers of the Zapadnye MES Branch and congratulated Serik Bagitov, the foreman of the 220 kV Kulsary substation, who purchased an apartment through the preferential mortgage lending programme, on his new home. This initiative was introduced at KEGOC earlier this year with the goal of retaining and attracting highly trained production staff. Currently, 35 corporate employees have purchased apartments as a result of this scheme.  

Kanysh Moldabayev also got acquainted with the implementation of the KEGOC investment project: “West Kazakhstan Electricity Transmission Reinforcement Project. Construction of power grid facilities”. The project goal is to improve network capacity and reliability of electricity supply to consumers in the Western zone of Kazakhstan UPS by re-enforcing 220 kV electrical links between West regions of Kazakhstan.
