KEGOC's team participated in KPMG Central Asian Online Chess Championship and took 4th place in the overall team competition. The team consisted of Timur Mazhikov, senior specialist of Development and Planning Department of the Financial Centre Settlement for RES LLP, Bayanbek Baktybayev, electrician for substation maintenance, KEGOC, and Daniyar Berdengorov, senior specialist of Safety, Health and Civil Defense Department of Energoinform. Forty-six teams from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan took part in the tournament.

The championship was held on the lichess.org gaming platform with the support of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation.
