Information regarding consumer load sheddings in East Kazakhstan Oblast

KEGOC informs that ShygysEnergoTrade LLP, the power supplier in East Kazakhstan Oblast, has been overconsuming electric capacity (by up to 110 MW vs the allowed deviation of 30 MW).

To exclude excessive consumption of electricity and capacity not covered by the contracts, KEGOC has instructed OESK JSC (formerly East Kazakhstan Regional Energy Company JSC) not to exceed the permitted capacity consumption.

KEGOC wishes to note here that KEGOC only decides on the total amount of load shedding in its networks, whereas the specific affected consumer loads are determined by OESK JSC independently. However, load shedding of vital facilities and Category 1 consumers is categorically not allowed.
