In response to the introduction by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the State of Emergency from 5 to 19 January 2022, KEGOC established an in-house emergency committee.

The committee will take all necessary actions to ensure the reliable operation of Kazakhstan's National Power Grid (NPG).

All the company's operational services and business units have been put on heightened alert. The company's executives are on duty 24/7. Measures have been taken to strengthen the security of all KEGOC facilities.

The NPG is operating in normal mode. KEGOC, as the System Operator, ensures the reliable functioning of the Unified Power System of the Republic of Kazakhstan and maintains stable parallel operation of its grid with the power systems of neighbouring states.
