KEGOC has celebrated Energy Workers’ Day, the professional holiday for those ensuring the reliable operation of the country’s energy system. Behind this day lies a whole year of intense and responsible work by specialists, upon which the stability of the public power supply depends.

This year, 316 company employees were recognised with state and industry awards, letters of appreciation, and corporate distinctions. As part of the Year of Working Professions, 17 KEGOC employees received state honours. Among them: 2 representatives of working trades were awarded the Order of "Enbek Danky" (Glory of Labour), Class III; 12 received the "Eren Enbegi Ushin" (For Distinguished Labour) medal; 2 received the Order of "Kurmet" (Honour); 1 employee was awarded the Order of "Parasat" (Nobility). High state awards were presented to select employees by the President of Kazakhstan at the Akorda.

KEGOC specialists also received badges for "Merited Energy Worker" and "Honorary Energy Worker", letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Energy, and awards from Samruk-Kazyna. Colleagues were recognised with badges and certificates of honour from the CIS Electric Power Council, as well as awards from the Kazakhstan Electricity Association (including "Merited Energy Worker", "Honorary Energy Worker", and "Veteran of the Energy Industry") and the KAZENERGY Association. Several employees were awarded the corporate badge "Merited Worker of KEGOC" and company certificates of honour.

Energy Workers’ Day is not merely a date on the calendar. The holiday reflects the team spirit, professionalism, and responsibility of the energy workers who ensure the daily operation of the entire system and the reliable power supply of the country.
