KEGOC JSC held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, during which a decision was taken to change the composition of the company’s Board of Directors.
By resolution of the General Meeting, the powers of Miras Kiyakov, a member of the Board of Directors of KEGOC JSC representing the interests of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, were terminated early based on his application for early termination of office of his own initiative.
Bakytzhan Taubayev was elected as a new member of the Board of Directors of KEGOC JSC, representing the interests of Samruk-Kazyna JSC. His term of office will run until the expiry of the tenure of the current Board of Directors of KEGOC JSC.
The candidacy of Bakytzhan Taubayev was proposed by Samruk-Kazyna JSC and pre-approved by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors of KEGOC JSC.
Bakytzhan Taubayev brings extensive long-term experience in public asset management. He currently serves as Co-Managing Director for Strategy and Asset Management at Samruk-Kazyna JSC and sits on the Boards of Directors of NC "KazMunayGas” JSC, NC "QazaqGaz" JSC, and Air Astana JSC.
