KEGOC JSC has hosted a round table on support for Kazakhstani manufacturers and on expanding their participation in the company’s procurement. The event brought together the senior management of KEGOC JSC, representatives of Samruk-Kazyna Contract JSC and the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of domestic enterprises.
The meeting presented the results of the company’s efforts to develop cooperation with Kazakhstani manufacturers. In the first half of 2026, contracts concluded with manufacturers totalled KZT 11 billion. Virtually all procurement of goods over that period was carried out among enterprises included in the Register of Goods Manufacturers of Samruk-Kazyna JSC.
KEGOC is steadily increasing the volume of its procurement from domestic enterprises. In 2023 such contracts totalled KZT 8.94 billion, in 2024 – KZT 21.68 billion, and in 2025 – KZT 15 billion. In addition, in its works contracts the company stipulates that contractors are obliged to purchase materials and equipment from Kazakhstani manufacturers and to provide evidence of such purchases.
Particular attention is paid to expanding the practice of offtake contracts, which provide manufacturers with guaranteed sales and enable them to plan the utilisation of their production capacity over the long term.
2023 – 5 contracts worth KZT 3.6 billion;
2024 – 9 contracts worth KZT 17.4 billion;
2025 – 10 contracts worth KZT 20.9 billion;
6 months of 2026 – 6 contracts worth KZT 15.4 billion.
In the first half of 2026, offtake contracts were concluded for the supply of line suspension fittings and power transformer equipment.
“We want as many Kazakhstani enterprises as possible to take part in delivering KEGOC’s projects. This fosters the development of domestic industry, strengthens the country’s production capacity and enhances the resilience of supply chains,” said Sayat Kurmanov, Managing Director for Procurement of KEGOC JSC.
Today KEGOC cooperates with enterprises in the electrical equipment, machine-building and construction industries. The company’s partners include Asia Trafo LLP, Ust-Kamenogorsk Capacitor Plant LLP, AKP Group LLP, TK Metakon LLP, Temirbeton LLP, KAMAZ-Engineering JSC and other domestic manufacturers.
Jointly with Samruk-Kazyna JSC, KEGOC is implementing a package of support measures for goods manufacturers. It provides for priority consideration of domestic goods, works and services, the conclusion of offtake contracts, accelerated payment and advance payment, exemption from certain types of security, and obligations for contractors to purchase products from Kazakhstani enterprises.
KEGOC will continue to create conditions for long-term cooperation with domestic manufacturers and to help strengthen Kazakhstan’s industrial capacity.
