On 29-30 November 2018, KEGOC held a Spartakiad of employees in Rudny for 11 teams from KEGOC Executive Administration, nine regional branches, and Energoinform subsidiary in: futsal, volleyball, ping-pong, arm-wrestling and chess.
The first team place was taken by the Almatinskiye MES branch athletes. The second place was taken by the Severnye MES branch team, the third place was taken by the Vostochnye MES branch.

KEGOC is the System Operator of the Unified Power System of Kazakhstan, and it owns and manages the assets of the National Power Grid (NPG). The company operates as the natural monopoly.
