KEGOC Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held in absentia on July 18 changed the composition of KEGOC Board of Directors.

The terms of power of Zhanbota Bekenov as a member of the Board of Directors and an independent director of KEGOC were prematurely terminated. Damir Suyentayev was elected as a member of KEGOC Board of Directors, independent director for the vacant seat until the expiration of the powers of KEGOC Board of Directors.

Damir Suyentayev has a degree in economics, law and management and experience on the boards of directors of domestic companies.

In 2021, Damir Suyentayev became the first Kazakhstani holder of the highest professional degree of the UK Institute of Directors: ‘the Chartered Director’.

Damir Suyentayev is a member of the Presidential Youth Talent Pool and President of the National Centre for Expertise and Certification JSC.
