KEGOC will allocate all first half 2022 income to dividends

On 27 October 2022, the extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of KEGOC was held, at which the semi-annual financial statements of KEGOC for 2022 were approved, a decision was made to pay dividends, and the amount of the dividend per one ordinary share of KEGOC was approved.

In accordance with the approved financial statements, the company's consolidated net income for the first half of 2022 amounted to KZT 14 billion. The total amount of dividends payable will be KZT 17 billion, including KZT 3 billion of retained earnings of previous periods.

Thus, KEGOC will allocate 120% of net profit for payment, which will amount to KZT 65.44 per share

The list of KEGOC shareholders, eligible for H1 2022 dividends on the ordinary shares of the company, will be finalised at 00 hours 00 minutes on 15 December 2022. The dividend payment will start on 20 December 2022.

KEGOC is the System Operator of the Unified Power System of Kazakhstan, and it owns and manages the assets of the National Power Grid (NPG). The company operates as the natural monopoly. It owns about 27,000 km of 220-1150 kV electricity transmission lines and 82 electrical substations with more 38.99 GVA of installed transformer capacity. These lines and substations form the NPG.
