KEGOC specialists conduct training for colleagues from Uzbekistan
Employees of NES Uzbekistan completed a professional development course on the "Functions and Responsibilities of Operational Personnel at 220-500 kV Substations," organized at the facilities of EnergoInform (a subsidiary of KEGOC).
Participants were trained in 10 modules based on KEGOC’s best practices in the operational dispatch management of 220-500 kV substation equipment. They also explored new solutions, diagnostic methods, and techniques for monitoring the condition of power grid equipment. The course covered recent industry changes, future developments in the electricity sector, regulatory and technical support experience, occupational health, and workplace safety.
Special emphasis was placed on KEGOC's experience in psychophysiological training for dispatch personnel, which is essential for effective performance and making rapid, complex decisions in national energy system management.
The training was conducted over 15 working days online and 15 working days in person at a specialised training centre located in the Burabay National Park (Akmola Region). A total of 60 participants completed the course, and certificates were awarded upon completion.
For over eight years, the Training and Operational Centre has offered various training formats for operating sector specialists, management staff, young scientists, and experts in the electricity and IT sectors.
