ASSYSTEM to develop a digital twin for KEGOC's substation equipment

In Paris, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between KEGOC and ASSYSTEM for the implementation of a pilot project titled "Digital Twin of a Substation Transformer."
The signing took place during the 13th meeting of the Kazakhstan-French Business Council, held as part of the working visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to France. The event brought together representatives from the business and industrial sectors of both countries, confirming the high level of bilateral cooperation and a mutual commitment to strengthening business ties.
The pilot project involves the development of a digital twin, which will allow for tracking the dynamic performance of the equipment and for predicting and modeling various technical parameters of its condition. This will enhance the quality of equipment operation and improve the reliability of energy supply.
"We plan to implement this project with the help of our French colleagues as part of our strategic focus on network digitalisation and increasing transmission efficiency. We expect to gain substantial benefits in equipment maintenance through predictive detection of potential malfunctions and the prevention of emergency situations," noted KEGOC’s CEO, Nabi Aitzhanov.
