Joint Venture “Green Corridor Alliance” registered in Baku to promote green energy development in Central Asia and the South Caucasus

Today, 2 July 2025, the joint venture LLC “Green Corridor Alliance” was officially registered in Baku. This milestone marks an important step in the implementation of the Strategic Partnership Agreement for Development and Transmission of Green Energy, signed on 13 November 2024 during COP‑29 in Baku by the heads of three states: Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.

The new company will focus on the development of renewable energy sources and international cooperation, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions and ensuring sustainable energy supply across Central Asia and the South Caucasus.

The founding shareholders of the company are the region’s leading energy enterprises: Azerenerji OJSC, National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan JSC, and KEGOC JSC. Through joint efforts, they aim to deliver ambitious projects to foster green energy development and secure an environmentally sustainable future for the region.
