KEGOC Labour Dynasties: a Time-Tested Connection Between Generations

KEGOC has announced the results of the “Energy Workers” Labour Dynasties’ competition, aimed at recognising the contribution of families who have dedicated their lives to the development of the energy industry. This is not just an internal initiative – it reflects the company’s core values: continuity, respect for experience and support for family labour traditions.

At the end of 2025, the winners of the competition were:

  • “Абыройлы әулет” (“Honoured Dynasty”) - the Suyundikov dynasty, Executive Directorate of KEGOC JSC – for their significant contribution to the development of the electric power industry;
  • “Дәстүрі берік әулет” (“Dynasty of Strong Traditions”)- the Zapolsky dynasty, a branch of Vostochnye MES, for the longest total length of service in the electric power industry;
  • “Ұрпақ сабақтастығы” (“Generational Succession”) - the Bocharov dynasty, Vostochnye MES branch (represented by Dmitry Pavlovich Pashov, grandson of the head of the dynasty) – for the largest number of relatives who continued the profession in the energy industry;
  • “Әулет болашағы” (“Dynasty of the Future”)- the Zhunisbekov dynasty, Severnye MES branch – for having the largest number of young family members (up to and including 29 years of age) working in the electric power industry.

The dynasty competition is part of KEGOC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its corporate culture, which focuses on people, their history and their contribution to the common cause. The company values those who preserve and build on professional traditions, creating an atmosphere of trust and responsibility around them. Today, KEGOC is not just a workplace, but a professional community where work becomes part of family history.

According to KEGOC Chairman Nabi Aitzhanov, this approach promotes sustainable development, increased engagement and the formation of long-term relationships between generations of employees.

"Families who have tied their fortunes to the energy sector for decades make an invaluable contribution to the sustainability and development of the industry. Their example is a living legacy on which KEGOC’s corporate culture is built. We are sincerely grateful to these dynasties for their loyalty to the profession, high level of involvement and dedication to their work. Such stories strengthen our image as a reliable employer and inspire a new generation of energy professionals," said the head of the company.
