Over 200,000 Kazakhstanis benefited from 21 new projects of the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Fund
In the first six months of 2025, the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Fund, on behalf of the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies, implemented 21 new projects totalling KZT 6 billion. The projects supported key areas such as inclusion, healthcare, education, culture and sports. Within these projects, around 200,000 people received charitable assistance, and 168 people gained employment.
Inclusion: A Centre for Early Intervention was opened in Almaty and an Inclusion Room in Astana. A charity marathon raised KZT 208 million to establish new inclusion support rooms, with 10 more scheduled to open in September. Across the country, there are now 46 rehabilitation centres and 15 inclusion support rooms.
Healthcare: The Salamatty Kazakhstan medical train began its operations, set to visit 123 villages and provide free medical and legal assistance to 90,000 people.
Culture: The Ozge Epic creative hub was launched in Uralsk; the largest historical and cultural centre opened in Kyzylorda; and a library for the visually impaired was established in Semey.
Sports: A sports complex was built in the village of Kazhymukan in Akmola region, where 188 children attend sports sections free of charge. By the end of the year, new sports complexes are planned to open in the village of Daulet (Mangistau region) and in Zhanaomir (West Kazakhstan region).
Education: As part of the Year of Vocational Professions, career guidance projects were launched titled: Samruk Umiti and Tugan Elge Sayakhat, covering 500 schoolchildren. In addition, a joint project with ExxonMobil was launched to provide STEM training for 250 women in Atyrau region.
Plans: By the end of the year, the Fund plans to open another 16 inclusion rooms in Astana, Kokshetau and Kulsary (Atyrau region), 9 rehabilitation centres, 2 sports facilities (in Daulet, Mangistau region and Zhanaomir, WKR), a museum-library in Dossor, and a longevity centre in Taraz.
