SEITKUL MAKEYEV

Seitkul Makeyev was born on 7 November 1937 in the village of Yenbekshi, Taldykorgan Oblast. In 1961, he graduated from the Kazakh Agricultural Institue as Electrical Engineer.

From 1961 to 1969, he worked as foreman, chief foreman, head of substation service, and deputy head of electrcal department at Tekeli power complex. In 1969-1970, he held a position of head of substation service at Taldykorgan grid enterprice.  

In 1970-1972, he worked as secretary of the party committee at Tekeli power complex; from 1972 to 1974, he worked as chief of industry and transport division, in 1974-1981, he was head of Taldykorgan Oblast Electricty Supply Department; in 1981-1992, he was a collegium member, head of personnel management under the Minister of Energy in Kazakh SSR. In 1992-1993, he was head of personnel management at NPG KazakhstanEnergo. In 1993-1998, he worked as head of Personnel, Labour Payment and Social Issue Management at KEGOC JSC before he retired.

He was awarded the Peoples' Friendship decoration, Medal For Valorous Labour in honour of 100th anniversary of V. Lenin, Labour Veteran Medal and other award pins. He was awarded a title of Deserved Power Engineer in the CIS. Hewasaparticipantoflabourfront.
