To organize and ensure work on sustainable development management, development, implementation and operation of KEGOC's integrated management system (IMS) and continuous improvement of management system performance, the Company has established a consultative and advisory body - the Coordination Council for Sustainable Development and IMS, headed by the Chairman of the Management Board of KEGOC.
The Coordination Council includes all managing directors and heads of subsidiary organizations. The main tasks of the Coordination Council in sustainable development issues are:
The Coordination Council, in accordance with the tasks assigned to it, shall perform the following functions:
1) analyzing the internal and external situation in three components of sustainable development: economic, environmental and social; in the field of IMS to formulate KEGOC's Policies, goals of IMS and components of sustainable development;
2) ensuring integration of sustainable development into key business processes by:
- ensuring the development of plans and/or programs, climate risk management process, identification of responsibilities, monitoring of climate management activities;
- ensuring the provision of resources and information required for the sustainability management system, as well as the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of IMS performance;
- distribution of authority and responsibility of personnel within the framework of sustainable development and IMS and communicating them to KEGOC personnel;
- analysis of draft plans and programs aimed at implementation of goals, objectives and achievement of indicators for the components of sustainable development and IMS;
- determining the materiality of sustainable development topics, reviewing the materiality matrix;
- determining the IMS scope of application, updating the IMS model (identification of IMS processes, their sequence and interaction), ensuring preservation of IMS integrity when planning and making changes to it, conducting analysis of IMS functioning, including assessment of improvement opportunities and need for changes;
3) ensuring appropriate competence of the personnel KEGOC in the field of sustainable development and IMS;
4) ensuring the development and updating of the Stakeholders Map and ways of interaction with them;
5) monitoring the implementation of sustainable development activities, including those provided to the Board of Directors/Committees of the Board of Directors as part of periodic reporting.
